Hello, I am Dr. Affleck of Idaho Falls, ID and I want to personally welcome you to my website. I feel privileged to be able to serve the community of Eastern Idaho. I say privilege because I believe I have been honored to treat many of the outstanding people living here in Eastern Idaho, people who have an unforgettable character about them that makes me excited to be apart of their lives each day.
All patients are welcome to Affleck M.D. Eye Care, from infants to seniors, and everyone in-between. I believe responsible and exceptional eye care begins with your doctor personally beginning your treatment and being involved every step of the way. I promise at each visit you will have my many years of experience, expansive education, and skills providing you with eye care. I personally will be the one treating you from the beginning to end and will, in the most literal sense, be seeing you eye to eye.
This website is not meant to give medical advice, but to hopefully introduce myself and some of what I do here at Affleck M.D. Eye Care. I hope it will give you the tools you need to make an informed decision on if Affleck M.D. Eye care is the right choice for your own eye care and the care of your family.
However, in the end, the only true way to know if I am the right ophthalmologist for you is to call and make an appointment.
Preventive measures for eye pain when outdoors are simple: use a good hat, a good pair of UV-blocking sunglasses, and lubricating drops. Don’t forget the sunblock!
I would certainly recommend Dr. Affleck to anyone. I know that he will take the time to look at your problem, talk to you, make sure you understand what he can do, and what your result most likely will be. Some doctors want to do your surgery quick , they want to sell their services and move on, but I felt with Dr Affleck, that when we started with correcting my problem that he wanted to take the time.
Having the surgery was easy to recover, there's very little pain, I would do it again. If I would of known my problem with pain was from my droopy eye lids I would of done it years ago. Once Dr. Affleck performed the surgery I knew the same day his surgery had done wonders and my eye was back to normal. I am so happy and so pleased, I can't believe it! ♥
Dr. Affleck and LASIK surgery changed my life! I was legally blind without glasses or contact lenses. Each morning I struggled to find my glasses just to read my alarm clock, let alone help my small children when they cried for me. I love to swim, but swimming goggles hurt to wear. Therefore, I either swam blind or risk loosing a contact. These are just two examples out of millions of how LASIK benefited my life. Dr. Affleck and his team are the people to go to for the best results. Having suffered with cataracts for several years. I was happy when my optometrist said it was time to remove them. When I asked about who could do the procedure, he suggested Dr. Affleck. I contacted his office and set a date. Dr. Affleck explained the procedure and said I would be impressed with the results. This proved to be an understatement. The people were so nice. I experienced no pain at all and I was seeing great in just a few hours. It’s been a little over a month since I’ve had my eyes done. I am amazed at what I can see and how clear everything is. I’ve worn glasses since I was eight. I am now 63 and can see perfectly without them. Dr. Affleck and his team are the people to go to for the best results. ♥
The only eye doctor our pedestrian recommends is Dr. Affleck. He is awesome, and always waits until every question you have is answered. Dr. Affleck is never in a hurry to leave the room and he wants to make sure that you understand what's going on. I had all trust in him for the surgery. He is wonder and I had complete peace about him doing surgery on my boy. He is just very good. Dr. Affleck is very professional but he is very kind. Our pedestrian recommends Dr. Affleck, because he knows what he is doing and you can tell that. He is very good with the boys and I like his methods on checking their eyes and he calls them sunshine, which I love!
Oh I would recommend him in a heartbeat, he does a good job, he's gentle, he explains everything to you, his bedside manner is great. He cares! ♥
